THE BOSCHMA GOVERNORNING BOARD CONVENED AN EMERGENCY MEETING ON SUNDAY, DECEMBER 28, 2025. The Borno State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency BOSCHMA convened on an emergency meeting which was led by Chairperson Hajiya Mairo Bunu Lawan and focused on the preparations for the upcoming access to care for state civil servants. Key discussions centered on the coordination of implementation efforts. Notably, the Executive Secretary of the Drug and Medical Consumables Management Agency (BODMA), Pharm Umar Abdulkarim, was invited to provide insights regarding the availability of essential drugs and medical supplies. The Executive Secretary of BOSCHMA briefed the board on the level of preparedness of healthcare facilities and emphasized the commitment to digitalization in service delivery. The board assured all enrollees of their dedication to providing quality care and expressed a strong commitment to ensuring access to care beginning in January 2026.
