BOSCHMA Recognizes Outstanding Staff, Departments, and PHCs at Annual Review Meeting As part of its commitment to excellence in healthcare service delivery, the Borno State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency (BOSCHMA) honored outstanding staff, departments, and three Primary Healthcare Centers (PHCs) during its Annual Review Meeting. The recognition aimed to appreciate and motivate individuals and institutions that have demonstrated exceptional dedication and performance throughout the year. Several staff members were awarded for their outstanding contributions in various capacities , Best Senior Staff in person of Usman Maidala (DPRS), junior staff Babagana Mohd (referral officer) ,Team player Zahra Aji (Media and Communication officer) and Most Innovative Mustapha Mohd (Head of ICT). Their dedication, hard work, and commitment to ensuring effective healthcare financing and service delivery were acknowledged by the agency’s leadership. Additionally, top-performing department within BOSCHMA Standard and Quality Assurance recognized for their impact and efficiency in carrying out the agency’s mandate. These department played a crucial role in ensuring the smooth implementation of the Basic Healthcare Provision Fund (BHCPF) and other healthcare initiatives across the state. Furthermore, three PHCs ( Teli PHC in Southern, Monguno MCH in Northern and Abuja Sharaton in Central ) were awarded for their exceptional healthcare services, maintaining high standards in patient care, and effectively implementing BOSCHMA’s programs. These facilities stood out in areas such as service delivery, patient satisfaction, and overall performance in providing quality healthcare to their communities. The Executive Secretary of BOSCHMA, Dr. Saleh Abba Kaza, commended the awardees and urged them to continue their dedication to improving healthcare access in Borno State. He emphasized that these awards serve as a motivation to further strengthen the healthcare system and enhance service delivery across the state. BOSCHMA remains committed to recognizing and rewarding excellence, ensuring that healthcare facilities and personnel continue to deliver quality and accessible healthcare services to the people of Borno State.
